Hate and Envy Rot your Soul!

I was part of a smear campaign against Clay Aiken from the very beginning. I was a Ruben fan and I was caught up in the rivalry between the Claymates and the Ruben fans. We did some awful things back then, which I will tell in this blog but the reason I want to expose this is that it never stopped.

I thought that it would end when Ruben got his debut out and he sold great, but these crazy bitches are still doing it. Five years have passed and they are as vicious as ever. I was part of it and I am sorry but I want to right the wrong.

What they did is unethical and the media should know what is going on! Ruben and Clay are friends and they wouldn't want this to happen to either one of them. They have no idea what was done to them. Ruben's mother, Emily, Alvin and his brother Kevin knew of it and didn't stop it, but they should have.

I got involved starting in May 2003 but it was not when it all started. The disseminating of rumors and smear tactics was already in full swing during the American Idol season before I found out. One of the group is a marketing expert with pro computer skills. She told them what to do, what to write, when and who to write to.

Did you ever wonder where the whole gay bashing started? They sent letters to gay gossip writers pretending to be in Clay's life. They posed as ex-lovers, room mates, classmates and family friends. They wrote as if they were worried about Clay, they pretended to be upset that Clay was being arrogant and cocky, or they posed as angry jilted gay lovers. By 2005 they came up with one of their most heinous plots. They would pay to have someone go to the tabloids and confess to being abused and dumped.

They wrote comments on gossip sites pretending to have talked to Clay on instant messages. They opened accounts on MySpace and on gay social networking sites impersonating Clay Aiken. They gave him the names valleyprettyboy, happychappy2, skippermagee, skippermageeblue, revnoles and ralehote (Raleigh Hottie). They wrote to Billy Masters and "exposed" Clay as a gay internet troll on Gay.com. as far back as March of 2003

It makes me sick to think about it now.

They wrote letters to every media outlet they could think of, including sending out that press release in 2006 posing as 9 ex fans of Clay's that were going to sue RCA and Clay Aiken for not being the straight man he was being marketed as. They celebrated as it was spread around the world in gossip columns and music news sites.

They wrote racist letters to Star Jones at The View that upset her a lot. They wrote to Kathy Griffin, Wanda Sykes, Conan O'Brien, Carson Daly, Jay Leno, David Letterman, MTV's VJ's, music critics and hundreds of disc jockeys and program directors. They posed as disillusioned ex fans that were so angry at the Claymates and Clay that they had to write to expose them. They complained about his songs on the radio, they accused Clay and his fans of being racists, they spread rumors of perversion and pedophilia, but the worst of it was done where nobody could see it, in letters and e-mails telling tales that he was, racist and homophobic and that he was a Christian Fundamentalist and an anti-gay Republican, none of which is true . They had no remorse about the lies they were telling. The plan was to destroy Clay Aiken and it was going to be accomplished no matter what.

The hate and the smear is still going on. The old Soulful Sistahs site is gone but the writings were saved by many people that were given the log in information before the Sistahs shut it down. I was one of them.
